Cad Programmer

**Job Title**: CAD Programmer

**Location**: Near **Sunguvarchatram** (employees will be given accommodation)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, modify and optimize detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into CAD models for CNC cutting processes.
- Maintain and update CNC profiles, tooling and cutting programs as per project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with production and design teams to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of CNC profiles and programs, ensuring all output is accurate and in line with specifications.
- Review technical specifications and customer requirements to ensure designs meet quality standards.
- Monitor the CNC cutting process, adjust settings and optimize material usage.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed technical reports and documentation.

**Educational Background**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE / MECH).

**Experience**:

- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in CAD programming, particularly with CNC profile cutting.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and familiarity with CNC profile cutting software.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Experience with CNC programming for profile cutting.
- Knowledge of machine tools and CNC systems.
- Understanding of G-code and M-code for CNC programming.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with other CAD/CAM software tools.
- Experience with CNC machines (Laser, Plasma, Waterjet, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
