We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Student Counselor with a background in Biology to join our team. As a Student Counselor, your primary role will be to provide guidance and support to students with a focus on academic and career pathways related to the field of Biology. Your expertise in Biology will be instrumental in assisting students in making informed decisions about their educational and career goals within the biological sciences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students, specializing in academic and career counseling within the field of Biology.
- Assess students' academic strengths, interests, and aspirations to guide them in choosing appropriate biology-related courses and educational paths.
- Provide information and guidance on career opportunities in the field of Biology, including research, healthcare, biotechnology, environmental sciences, and other related areas.
- Assist students in developing personalized academic plans aligned with their career goals, considering course requirements, internships, research opportunities, NEET exam and potential graduate studies.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Biology, including advancements in research, emerging career options, and educational trends.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to address students' academic challenges and recommend appropriate resources and support services.
- Organize workshops or seminars related to Biology, covering topics such as study skills, laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and career pathways.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, student progress, and academic plans.
- Continuously enhance counseling skills and knowledge through professional development activities and participation in relevant conferences or workshops.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Biology or a related field. A background in Counseling or Education is a plus.
- Proven experience in student counseling or related roles, with a focus on Biology or the life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of the field of Biology, including academic pathways, career opportunities, and research trends.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to students.
- Empathetic and supportive approach, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with students.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques, assessment tools, and career development resources.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality and respecting students' privacy.

Pay: ₹14,625.17 - ₹25,000.00 per month
