**Job Title**: QA Tester (Quality Assurance Tester)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute test cases to ensure that software meets the required specifications and functions as intended.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, design test scenarios, and track issues through to resolution.
- Report defects and work with developers to replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and that software is free from critical defects before release.
- Document test cases, results, and other relevant information in the defect-tracking system.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that software changes do not negatively affect existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Maintain and update test scripts and test plans as needed.
- Review product requirements and specifications to identify potential risks or areas requiring more detailed testing.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of testing frameworks and tools.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles (SDLC, Agile, etc.).
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of test methodologies (black-box testing, functional testing, regression testing, etc.).
- Experience with manual testing and an understanding of automation scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in automated testing (e.g., using Selenium, Python, Java, etc.).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Understanding of database management and query languages (SQL).
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments.

**Work Environment**:
The role typically involves working in an office setting, with the option for remote work in some organizations. QA testers often work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product meets quality standards before release.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
