Are you passionate about mental math and unique counting methods? Do you have expertise in UCMAS? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our team and educate students in the art of Abacus.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide engaging and comprehensive instruction in counting methods and mental math techniques.
- Teach students how to perform calculations mentally using counting methods and other mental math strategies.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to facilitate student learning in mental math and counting methods.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, and mental math exercises.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
**Requirements**:
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in counting methods and mental math techniques.
- Teaching experience in a classroom setting, preferably with students of varying ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for promoting mental math skills and cultural understanding through mathematics education.
- Ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Teaching certification or relevant educational background.
- Experience in curriculum development for mental math and counting methods.
- Familiarity with current educational trends and best practices in mental math instruction.
