Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
This role is part of the RIS process improvement Market Risk team and is responsible for delivering automations to create capacity, improve the control environment and improve overhauled colleague and stakeholder experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn about latest technologies, be part of the digital transform agenda and gain hands on experience of with working with multi geographical interdisciplinary teams.

What will you be doing?
- Engage and deliver the automation solution for the process. This requires capability to quickly grasp the business requirements and translation of it into solution.
- Based on the understanding of business processes, hands on coding into Python / VBA/ RPA tools.
- Ownership of stand-alone automation projects to deliver solutions in tactical technology tools.
- Finding the right model for the automation and simplification of the process.
- Focus on control environment off the automation and ensure that there are no technical slippages in the solution.

What we’re looking for:

- Knowledge of investment banking products and concepts from a risk management perspective
- Advanced process/ coding skills.
- Proven track record of solution oriented approach towards Transform agenda.
- Independent thinker and capability to manage assignments with mínimal supervision.
- Hands on with technologies like Python, M365, Alteryx etc.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or has an appropriate professional qualification.
- Able to multitask on several assignments for automations.
- Builds strong relationships and networks and trust through collaboration.
- Strong understanding of industry best practice in respect of automation tools and developments and of the technology landscape.
- Experience in Risk management in a techno functional capacity to understand the Risk business requirements.
- Detailed understanding of latest trends in the tactical technology tooling space. Insights into technical aspects around controls, architecture and technology standards.
- Hands on tooling experience.
- Experience working in a top tier investment bank in a related role
- Post graduate degree or professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM looked at favourably
