**Position Overview**:
The role requires not just technical expertise but also a leadership mindset—someone who is ready to take charge, mentor junior bakers, and constantly learn and innovate alongside the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead and Manage Team**: Oversee and mentor a team of bakers, ensuring smooth operations and quality control at all times. Encourage a team spirit, collaboration, and growth within the team.
- **Bread & Pastry Production**: Prepare and bake a wide variety of artisanal breads (including sourdough) and laminated pastries such as croissants, puff pastry, Danish pastries, and more.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards, with an emphasis on taste, texture, and presentation.
- **Training & Development**: Teach and share knowledge with junior bakers. Foster a culture of learning and growth, with an open mindset to explore new techniques and recipes.
- **Ingredient Sourcing**: Work with the management team to select the best ingredients, maintaining consistency in product quality.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness & Organization**: Ensure that all workspaces, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and in accordance with health and safety standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in bakery, with a focus on artisanal bread and laminated doughs.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, particularly sourdough, as well as advanced skills in working with laminated doughs (croissants, puff pastry, etc.).
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated experience leading or managing a team of bakers in a fast-paced environment. Ability to inspire, teach, and manage a diverse team.
- **Creative Mindset**: Open to experimenting and innovating with new flavors, techniques, and recipes.
- **Strong Work Ethic & Responsibility**: A proactive, responsible, and professional demeanor, with a commitment to quality and consistency.
