**Purpose**:
The primary role of this position is to collaborate with the educational institutions and functionaries at District / Block and Cluster level for understanding teacher needs, Design need based module and smooth implementation of Training programs for Education functionaries and Teachers at Block and Cluster level. Coordinate with the Dept for post training evaluation and studies for ascertaining the outcomes and impacts of the program

Work out of Bangalore Office: 70% of the time

Work out of various district offices: 30% of time

Currently CWC works in Ramanagara, Tumakuru & Madhugiri educational districts and is actively working towards expanding the programs to various other districts in Karnataka.

In the case of outstation work, an office cab or vendor cab will be arranged. Employees will always travel as a team and usually return by the end of the day.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- The primary responsibility of Learning and Development SME - English / Science / Math / Urdu Language (Science / Math) / Kannada language is to Design hands-on experiential learning modules for K-12 teachers both in Curricular and Co-Curricular modules such as teacher professional development module in language Pedagogy.
- Develop training modules and transact them to develop and enhance LSRW skills for non - English speaking adult learners
- Develop rubrics to assess the improvement in language skill acquisition of adults’ learning and students both in classroom and out-of-classroom contexts
- Precisely identify the gaps in the learning process in the schools and develop appropriate tools, methods, and processes needed to improve learning outcomes in students
- Represent the organization at various levels of the education department and establish s strong working relationship with the stakeholders.
- Understand organizational vision, goals, and activities at the District, Block / Cluster and School level and plan the programs in the district accordingly.
- Participate in Design, planning, implementation, monitoring, review, and documentation of program activities.
- Visit offices of the dept at district and block level to participate in meetings and reviews of the training programs implemented by CWC and Dept
- Facilitate / Co-facilitate relevant training sessions for the Teachers and education functionaries along with the other teams’ of CWC
- Assist the content team in other tasks like drafting, proof reading documents and reports using consistent and crisp language, create story board for videos

**Qualifications & Skills Required**:

- Strong Academic Background - M.A /Journalism/ Mass communication / B.Ed / M.Ed - Any specialization that provides enough skill in English language teaching
- learning methods.
- Knowledge of NCERT and DSERT curriculum, Language Pedagogy
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinking
- Passion for Education and social change and Willingness to learn & work in Govt School space
- Good communication skills in both English and Kannada are mandatory.
- Being sensible and reflective
- Ability to collaborate with Officers of the education dept and internal team members towards attainment of both individual and collective team goals.
- Strong analytical skills. working knowledge of tools like Excel, Power point, word etc is a must.
- Documentation skills in both English and Kannada is essential
- Ability to Travel frequently is mandatory. Most of the travel will be to Education Offices in district and Blocks and sometimes to Cluster level Centers and Schools.
