Site Supervisor

Experience:5-8 years of experience in retail store construction, interior fit-outs, or project/site supervisionQualification :Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Job Description:
The Site Supervisor for New Store Opening will be responsible for overseeing the construction, renovation, and setup of new retail stores. This role requires close coordination with architects, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of the project. The Site Supervisor will ensure that all work aligns with the company’s design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines before handing over the store to the new store operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
**Project Coordination & Supervision:Act as the on-site representative for the company, managing day-to-day store construction and setup activities.**Work closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is executed as per the approved store layout and design.**Coordinate with the landlord for site readiness, approvals, and compliance with lease agreements.**Supervise civil work, electrical installations, HVAC, plumbing, and interior fit-outs to ensure adherence to company standards.**Monitor and track the project timeline, identifying potential delays and ensuring corrective actions are taken.**Quality Control & Compliance:Ensure all materials, fixtures, and installations meet quality and safety standards.**Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.**Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts between contractors and vendors.**Ensure adherence to safety protocols, conducting risk assessments when necessary.**Vendor & Contractor Management:Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely material delivery and installation.**Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed as per the agreed-upon scope and standards.**Verify and approve work completion before processing payments for contractors/vendors.Documentation & Reporting**:Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and work completion checklists.**Report to the project manager regarding progress, challenges, and resource requirements.**Document and escalate any deviations from the planned project scope or quality standards.**Handover to Store Opening Team:Ensure the store is fully completed, functional, and ready for merchandising before handover.**Conduct a final walkthrough with the store opening team and address any remaining issues.**Assist in setting up utilities (electricity, water, internet, etc.) before store launch.**Experience in managing multi-store rollouts or new store openings.**Familiarity with local building regulations, permits, and safety compliance requirements.Skills & Competencies**:Strong project management and coordination skills.**Ability to read architectural plans and blueprints.**Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and finishing standards.**Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.**Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.**

Salary : 3.60 - 4.80 ctc P.A
