Job Summary:
A Draftsman in an architectural firm plays a crucial role in translating architectural concepts and designs into detailed technical drawings. The draftsman collaborates closely with architects and other team members to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings that serve as the foundation for construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Design Interpretation**:

- Interpret and understand architectural designs, sketches, and specifications provided by architects.
- Transform conceptual ideas into detailed and precise architectural drawings using CAD software.
- **Drafting and Detailing**:

- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural drafting software to create 2D and 3D drawings as per the requirement.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and details that accurately represent the architect's vision for the project.
- **Collaboration with Architects**:

- Work closely with architects to incorporate design changes and revisions into the drawings.
- Participate in design development meetings and provide input on the feasibility and practicality of design elements.
- **Building Codes and Regulations**:

- Ensure that all architectural drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Stay informed about changes in building codes and regulations relevant to architectural drafting.
- **Presentation Drawings**:

- Assist in creating presentation drawings for client meetings, including renderings and visualizations that effectively communicate design intent.
- **Material and Construction Knowledge**:

- Possess a basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Collaborate with architects to integrate practical construction solutions into the drawings.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct thorough reviews of architectural drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of quality in all architectural drafting work.
- **Project Documentation**:

- Organize and maintain a well-documented library of architectural drawings, revisions, and project-related information.
- Collaborate with the documentation team to ensure consistency and accuracy in project records.
- **Communication**:

- Effectively communicate with architects and project managers regarding project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Provide clear and concise documentation for internal and external communication.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in architectural drafting or a related field.
- Proficiency in architectural drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, design, and detailing.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
