Mechanical Maintenance

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of mechanical equipment and systems within an industrial or manufacturing setting. You will be tasked with conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Inspection and Diagnosis**:

- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and assess their condition.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, calibration, and component replacement, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- **Repair and Maintenance**:

- Execute timely and effective repairs on malfunctioning equipment, including replacing defective parts and components.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex issues and ensure the swift resolution of mechanical problems.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment performance data.
- Document repairs, modifications, and upgrades to provide a comprehensive history of each piece of equipment.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to the development and improvement of safety procedures.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other maintenance team members, engineers, and production personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other stakeholders regarding equipment status and maintenance requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and performance.
- Propose and implement enhancements, upgrades, and modifications to enhance overall system efficiency.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to address critical equipment failures and minimize production downtime.

**EXperience : 10+ years (Immediate Joiners)**

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Diploma Mechanical / BE Mechanical** or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to on-call duties when required.
