**About the role**:
We are looking for an empathetic veterinarian to prevent and treat illnesses in our practice's patients and to improve their health and well-being. You will collaborate with team members to uphold ethical practices and medical standards, and to share veterinary knowledge. You will work together with clients to select the best treatment solutions for individual patients, using state-of-the-art pharmaceuticals, materials, and diagnostic equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for routine check-ups and procedures
- Responsible for Routine OP treatments and consultations
- Assess and examine pets and diagnosing their medical issues.
- To conduct laboratory tests on specimens to diagnose the medical conditions of the pets.
- To perform diagnostic imaging and ultrasound tests for proper medical records.
- Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, and prescribing medication for the appropriate pet’s conditions.
- To ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies and procedures.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers and their animals through regular communication and excellent record-keeping
- Prioritise traumatic injuries and serious illnesses to ensure that all animals receive time sensitive care
- Educate clients on the importance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments and other aspects of preventive care
- Train new veterinary assistants and other members of the support staff

**EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION CRITERIA**:

- MVSc Medicine/ Surgery with small animal clinical experience of minimum 3 or more years.
- Extremely empathetic towards animals
- Diligent and committed towards providing best in class veterinary services
