DNEG’s Virtual Production Department provides a cutting-edge service to clients that helps

them return to the roots of film, allowing filmmakers to see what is being filmed as it happens,

using Virtual Reality, Augmented reality and more.

Virtual production is quickly being adopted by the industry due to its vast benefits such as more

iterative workflow and the ability to visualise things in a naturalistic way

We are looking for a Producer who will manage all aspects of Production on one or more shows.

Reporting to the Head of Production, you’ll have experience as a Producer within long form

productions (drama or features) and have proven experience managing multiple clients through

complex productions. Virtual Production requires a technically minded person so a background

in VFX heavy productions is advantageous. Working closely with the Show Leads and

Supervisors, you will help define and maintain the show structure within the production team,

including project tracking documentation as well as defining lines of reporting and team member

responsibilities within the different show unit.

You’ll need excellent leadership, organisational and problem solving skills, as well as the ability

to work strategically across multiple deliveries whilst effectively managing project-based staffing

needs, budget plans and PNLs cost reports. You’ll be the first point of contact on every aspect of

the show’s progress across Content Creation and On Set Services, including managing the

creation and delivery of multiple real time environments feeding our on set Virtual Production

pipelines, ensuring production pipelines are carried out effectively on all projects and managing

every aspect of the shoot process.

You will be inputting on the pitch phase for all projects to ensure all Content Creation and on set

needs are catered for as well onboarding clients and introducing them to the VP process.

Please note: Extended periods of time will be spent on set. Recording and reporting all costs to

the Finance department fall under your remit.

As well as being technically proficient, you will also need to be a good communicator, this role

will require to run on-set collaborative demos with Directors, VFX supervisors and other HODs.

**Must-Have**
- 5+ years experience as a Producer within a relevant industry
- Proven experience putting pitch docs together
- On-set experience on large scale productions
- Experience managing large budgets
- Solid understanding of all stages of the virtual production filmmaking process
- A good understanding of 3D pipelines and file formats

**Nice to Have**
- Good technical knowledge of games engines like Unreal and Unity.
- Understanding of CG packages like Maya, Max or Blender.
- Virtual production management experience
