**Job Title: Network Administrator**

**Position Overview**:The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of computer networks within an organization. They ensure the efficient and secure operation of the network infrastructure, troubleshoot network issues, and provide support to end-users. The Network Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining network performance, optimizing network resources, and ensuring network security.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Network Infrastructure Management:Design, deploy, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments.

Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency.

Ensure network connectivity for users, servers, and other network devices.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain network equipment and services.

Network Security:Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats.

Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and virtual private networks (VPNs).

Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents promptly.

Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary security updates and patches.

Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.

Network Administration and Support:Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls on the network.

Troubleshoot and resolve network problems using diagnostic tools and methodologies.

Perform network backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Network Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.

Create reports on network performance, security incidents, and system utilization.

Document network issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network administration.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).

Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).

Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
