We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Designer with strong video production capabilities to join our Product Team at Capillary. As a Product video Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging videos on product features, functionalities, support, and value proposition for our Product Marketing and Academy teams that cater to our employees, partners and customers. Your expertise in instructional design, coupled with your video making skills, will play a critical role in creating high-quality content.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Content Development**: Develop instructional materials, including course outlines, scripts, storyboards, and multimedia assets, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and engagement.
- **Video Production**: Create visually appealing and informative videos using industry-standard video editing tools, incorporating animations, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance the learning experience.
- **Scriptwriting**: Write clear, concise, and engaging scripts for video-based lessons, ensuring content alignment with learning objectives and target audience.
- **Storyboarding**: Build compelling stories around Product features, that highlight product ease-of-use, business benefits, differentiators and general market fit.
- **Multimedia Integration**: Select appropriate audio, video, and interactive elements to enhance the instructional materials and improve learner comprehension.
- **Learning Management System (LMS) Integration**:Collaborate with the Academy team to integrate instructional materials seamlessly into our LMS platform.
- **Product UI Integration**:Collaborate with Product Managers and UX designers to embed product support videos to the UI workflows.
- **Quality Assurance**: Review and revise instructional materials and videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with instructional design principles and organizational standards.
- **Evaluation and Improvement**: Conduct formative and summative assessments to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including SMEs, graphic designers, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful course development and delivery.
**Industry Research**: Stay up-to-date with the latest instructional design methodologies, video production techniques, and e-learning trends to incorporate innovative approaches into course development.
**Job Requirement**
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Production, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, creating engaging and effective instructional materials and videos for online learning environments.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and e-learning best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging scripts.
- Creativity and attention to detail in designing multimedia-rich instructional materials.
- Proficiency in using content authoring tools like Articulate 360, graphics software, and other related technologies.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI) is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable content.
- A portfolio showcasing your instructional design work and video production skills.
