Sourcing Executive

- Manage the fabric / product / vendor development process in a timely
- manner (development sampling, initial costs, negotiation/ production &
- capacity planning to meets the design aesthetic as well as commercially
- acceptable quality standards)
- Maintains and updates the fabric development Time & Action calendar
- (T&A), fabric charts and Fabric status Sheet.
- Manage relationships with vendors and support vendor allocation &
- aggregated costing along with overall capacity planning aligned to the cost
- targets to drive competitive advantage.
- Develop with contingency plan in mind for product placement e.g.; back up
- lab dips, artwork and Strike-off all relates to quick turn & price points
- Send artwork requests to the CAD team and work closely with them on
- repeat sizes etc. Work within time frame of Developmental calendar
- ensuring we approve all bulk s/o’s on time so as not to delay bulk
- deliveries.
- Daily communication with key vendors, developing capabilities & product.
- Collaborate and problem-solve with the mill and factories on any fabric
- related issues during development and production.
- Drive fabric development process and calendar
- Documentation of Import Business.
- Meeting with suppliers and client.
- Costing of fabric by considering Yarn count, Construction, GSM etc.
- Daily follows up with vendors the fabric on time within ordered quality.
- Undertaking bulk order placement and its follow-up till I/H
- Initiating necessary steps to I/H the fabrics timely
- Developing vendor (Supplier) base and selected for a particular order
- Getting approval from the customer, managing price negotiation, quality
- issue
- Following-up logistics, trims procurement
- Leading printing & dyeing developments

- ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
