- Implement an EH& S Management System to meet Otis Global Standards, ISO standards & WWJSSS.
- Responsible for implementation of Environment Management System (EMS) including arriving at the environmental base line.
- Maintain effective communication and awareness on all safety, health and environmental matters.
- Coordinate and conduct trainings required at various levels of employees and sub-contractors in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements (Trainings like JHA, Inspections, First-aid, Fire-fighting, Emergency response etc).
- Liaison & coordinate with state Pollution Control Board and other related statutory agencies as & when necessary.
- Prepare & Submit necessary Returns & Annual Statements to KSPCB on time.
- Provide timely response to KSPCB communications/notices to ensure compliances.
- Maintain a legal register and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- To develop & implement Subcon Safety management in accordance to Otis Global Standards & WWJSSS.
- To ensure all EHS audits & Assurance Review findings are closed in the stipulated time frame.
- To follow guidelines by government authorities for hazardous waste material. Submit Monthly reports to HO/WHQ on EHS on time.
- Develop and implement Emergency response plan.
- Ensure proper working & availability of entire Fire detection & protection system which includes Hydrant, Sprinkler, Hose Reel, Novac, Foam, Extinguishers and Detection systems.
- Maintain the fire evacuation & response plan.
- Update as & when layout changes. Ensure effective TPM of all the related EHS equipments.
- Educational qualifications: Graduation / Diploma - Electrical branch preferred;- To be a qualified Environmental Engineer/ Officer.
- Should be pursuing or completed Degree/ Diploma in Safety Management from a recognized Government institute.
- Qualification in Fire system Management is an added advantage.
