**About the role**

The SDET role is a critical one for us given the demanding requirements of the business that we are in. Services cannot be prone to error and data must be accurate. Automating the business work flows is critical, yet there is a need for a rapid development pace & quality deliverables.

We would need you to be on your toes, make high-quality automated tests, show prudence in judgements, show depth in testing and work well under pressure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute automation test cases, prepare test strategy and deliver high quality test results.
- Able to perform Integration testing, Regression testing, and Performance testing.
- Writing automation for complex projects, test data preparation and test execution.
- Participate in design and product sessions as appropriate.

**Required Skills**:
**Must have**:

- 2-5 years of experience in Web based Manual testing, API Testing, Web & mobile testing and understanding of the relevant automation.
- Good knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation.
- Good understanding of testing tools & frameworks: Postman,TestRigor, RESTAssured, or any other API automation framework, Non-functional testing (Load & Stress testing) using JMeter, Gatling or any other tools/frameworks
- Strong with communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to deal with complex problems & in fast-paced environments with unstructured requirements.

**Good to Have**:

- Web based automation using TestRigor tool.
- Prior experience in working with an external/contractor QA team and driving the in-house product QA requirements.
