**Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain automated test suites to validate our software products' functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Design and execute test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform manual testing when necessary and analyze test results to identify defects and regressions.
- Raise and track Jira tickets to closure. Promote builds to UAT, Staging and ultimately production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other team activities to ensure the overall quality of our software solutions.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by customers or identified during testing, and work with the development team to implement solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Must have experience in API test automation using Pytest, RestAssured, etc, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
