Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Sales & Business Development**:

- Identify, pursue, and establish relationships with new business clients in the retail, wholesale, and food service sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Expand our presence in the millet-focused food market by identifying new sales opportunities and creating tailored approaches for different customer segments.
- **Product Promotion & Education**:

- Conduct product demonstrations and present the therapeutic benefits of our food products to customers and potential clients.
- Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to boost brand visibility and drive sales.
- Educate clients on the nutritional benefits of our millet-based and wellness products, ensuring they understand the value of our offerings.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond to client queries, manage feedback, and resolve any concerns promptly to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled and clients receive the best possible service.
- **Sales Targets & Reporting**:

- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, while focusing on the quality of customer relationships.
- Prepare regular sales reports, detailing performance, client feedback, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Work closely with the management team to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
- **Market Research & Competitor Analysis**:

- Stay updated on trends within the food and millets industry, including new product innovations, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Share insights from customer interactions and market research to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns that resonate with target customers.
- Work closely with the product development and R&D teams to provide feedback and align sales strategies with new product launches.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of the food industry, with an emphasis on health-conscious products and trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- **Education**:

- A degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Passionate about wellness, nutrition, and sustainable food practices.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive and self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
