Pixxel is a space data company building a constellation of the world’s highest-resolution hyperspectral earth imaging satellites and the analytical tools to mine insights from the data. The constellation will aim to provide global coverage every 24 hours and help detect, monitor, and predict global phenomena across agriculture, mining, environment and energy use cases.

**About the role**:
We’re looking at hiring a **paid social media and content intern** to join our communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand's online presence, telling our story effectively, amplifying our efforts, and ensuring that our message reaches the right target audience. You will have the opportunity to work closely with teams cross-functionally and contribute to the growth and success of our mission.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Help out in the development and execution of the social media and content strategy with the communications team
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Schedule and publish content across social media and owned channels, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of engaging posts
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics and foster a positive and inclusive online community
- Develop content for internal platforms, such as the company website, blogs, and media releases
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with Pixxel's brand voice and messaging
- Stay up-to-date with research on content and industry trends and best practices

**What we look for**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar
- Demonstrated ability to think and write proactively and independently but also work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passionate about social media, written content, and storytelling
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content management systems
- A strong interest in space technology, earth imaging, and/or the aerospace industry is desirable
- Basic technical writing skills preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software(e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.) are a plus

**Structure**:

- 3-month full-time paid internship based out of Indiranagar, Bangalore
- Hybrid office model and flexible working hours
- Opportunity to extend or convert to full-time basis need and performance
