**Special Educator/ Vocational Trainer**

The program aims to provide vocational training to Young Adults with developmental delay/ disability which will lead to financial independence. A special educator should be able to think differently, able to adapt to the changing global conditions and develop appropriate strategies to ensure academic or skill-based learning happens in any system.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
**He/she should be capable of**:

- Conceptualize lesson plans graded learning for critical and cumulative learning
- Develop training content for the chosen vocational training to include people with specific learning disabilities or people with intellectual disabilities.
- Able to understand the need and resolve problems
- Come up with various sustainable models to implement Vocational Training program
- Lead the Vocational Training program
- Develop Guidelines documents -Buy-in from teachers, volunteers, children, mentors
- Peer sensitization
- Modifications and accommodations for the training program
- Online parents training. Offline, if and when required
- Suggest resource materials for use at different levels
- Develop relevant Monitoring systems and maintain an MIS
- Analyze the ongoing program, review and advice course corrections or further steps to grow the program

**Required Qualification and Skills**:

- Diploma/ B.Ed in Special Education in Learning Disability/Autism with 3+ Yrs. of experience in developing and resource implementation
- Minimum 2 Yrs. of experience in practical implementation of Vocational training with various condition of Children with Disabilities
- Preferred 2 yrs. of experience working with CwD.
- Strong communication skills in English, Tamil both oral and writing.
- Basic computer knowledge & Microsoft Office

**Salary**: ₹8,856.80 - ₹400,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Quarterly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kormanagala, Bengaluru - 560079, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
