We are seeking a dedicated and professional **Counter Sales Executive** for our washing and laundry service. As a Counter Sales Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while managing their laundry requirements. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of laundry services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Service**:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting the appropriate laundry services.
- Provide clear information about pricing, service options, and delivery times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding the laundry process, garment care, and special requests.
- **Order Management**:
- Receive, document, and process customer orders accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of customer items for washing and delivery.
- Handle both regular and special laundry requests, such as delicate fabric care or dry cleaning services.
- **Sales and Upselling**:
- Promote additional services, such as express laundry, stain removal, or fabric treatments.
- Cross-sell or upsell services based on customer needs and preferences.
- Process payments and provide receipts for services rendered.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Check the condition of garments and alert customers about any potential issues (e.g., stains or damaged fabrics).
- Ensure that items are correctly cleaned, ironed, and returned in excellent condition.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the counter area.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor stock levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and other laundry materials.
- Place orders for inventory replenishment as needed.
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate records of customer orders, transactions, and delivery schedules.
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems to track orders and payments.
- **Complaint Resolution**:
- Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve issues related to quality, timing, or other service-related matters.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the laundry, dry cleaning, or hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of laundry services and garment care is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position with flexible working hours.
- Ability to work weekends or evenings as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle laundry items.
