As a **Ticketing Executive/Specialist**, you will manage and oversee the ticketing process, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely travel tickets for their bookings. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert knowledge of ticketing systems, resolving queries, and maintaining high standards of service quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Ticketing Management**:

- Handle the end-to-end ticketing process for customers, including issuing, rebooking, and canceling travel tickets (flights, trains, cruises, events, etc.).
- Ensure all tickets are issued according to company procedures and within the required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of ticket transactions, cancellations, and exchanges.
- Provide detailed explanations of travel options and assist customers in making the right ticket selections.
- **Customer Support**:

- Resolve ticketing issues, such as incorrect bookings, cancellations, and refunds, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Provide clear, detailed communication regarding any changes to itineraries or ticket statuses.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Work closely with travel agents, suppliers, airlines, and vendors to ensure ticket availability and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth ticketing processes and customer satisfaction.
- **Ticketing System Management**:

- Use reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) to book and manage travel tickets.
- Keep up to date with any changes in ticketing software and provide troubleshooting assistance when necessary.
- Update and maintain the ticketing system with current flight and event schedules, prices, and availability.
- **Pricing & Payments**:

- Ensure accurate pricing for all travel-related products and services.
- Handle payment processing, invoicing, and receipts for ticket bookings.
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing discrepancies or payment-related issues.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on ticket sales, cancellations, and customer queries for management review.
- Maintain organized records of all ticket-related documentation, including receipts, confirmations, and correspondence.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Ticketing Executive/Specialist** or similar role in the travel industry.
- Proficient in travel reservation and ticketing systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Knowledge of airline, train, and event ticketing procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- A degree in travel and tourism is preferred.

- Experience with online booking platforms and ticketing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of international travel and ticketing regulations.
- Ability to handle complex ticketing issues and provide timely solutions.
