Currently, we are looking for a System Admin to join our team

Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support to the employees and manage the IT helpdesk
- Install and configure software, VPN, Endpoint security, and hardware.
- Manage network, Set up accounts and workstations
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and outages
- Develop and maintain system infrastructure always up and running.
- Identify and investigate potential issues with overall system health.
- Represent the IT department during various internal and external ISMS audits and other org wide audits.
- Creating and maintaining the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure)
- Handle the organization inventory - all the hardware and software assets.
- Understand the user’s issues and find out the root cause and remediating it.
- Experience in handling VPN, Firewall, AD etc
- Experience in handling the IT support vendors.
- Experience in creating firewall rules, content filtering, monitoring network logs and configure Nagios based on any new metrics provided
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, and be a mentor for team members
- Pay attention to what others are saying, understand the points being made, asking appropriate questions.
- Ready to learn any technologies as and when required

We looking for
- 2+ years - Network administration / system administration experience
- Good communication, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- BSc/MCA/BE/Diploma, or a related discipline with relevant experience.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including reasonable knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
- Strong Knowledge with Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and the administration of those operating systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL, AGILE and monitoring methodologies.
- Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, UDP and NTP.
