The role

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to join our organization based in Pune.- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data mo- Evaluating existing data systems connections among the entities.- Determine how the various entities are related and develop entity relationship diagrams that represent the model.- Identify each entity's characteristics and properties and ensure that the entities can be differentiated within the model- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.- Transforming the logical representation of the model into a physical representation and work with database administrators to instantiate and manage the data

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master’s degree in information technology management-related curriculum.- 5 to 10 years of total IT experience.- In particular at least 5 years of dedicated data modelling experience, preferably in a global transport and logistics environment.- A breadth of knowledge in BI and Analytics, strong commercial “know how”, focusing on excellent, understanding of data, data structure and segmentation as well as strong stakeholder management and communication skills.- Demonstrated experience in working with relational databases (eg. SQL) and data modelling tools (eg. ERwin).
