Bookkeeping- Uk/ Us Accounting

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting & Analysis**:

- Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with both UK GAAP/IFRS and US GAAP.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to support business decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- **General Ledger Management**:

- Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and properly reconciled.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
- Manage fixed assets, including depreciation calculations and asset register maintenance.
- **Compliance & Taxation (UK/US Specific)**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant UK and US accounting standards, tax regulations (e.g., VAT, Corporation Tax for UK; Federal/State income tax, sales tax for US), and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations and filings for both UK and US entities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight**:

- Supervise and review accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage vendor and client relationships from an accounting perspective, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- **Process Improvement & System Utilization**:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) effectively for all accounting functions.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of new accounting systems or modules.
- **Team Collaboration & Mentorship**:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, sales) and external clients.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
- **Ad-hoc Projects**:

- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Manager/Head of Accounting.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a significant focus on both UK and US accounting standards.
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements under both UK GAAP/IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience working with clients or entities based in the UK and US markets.
- Prior experience in a KPO/BPO environment or a global accounting firm serving international clients is highly desirable.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- **Technical Proficiency**:

- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and US GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
- Understanding of relevant tax regulations in the UK and US.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous and accurate in all accounting tasks.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proactive in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and challenges.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
