**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate conventional lathe machines for turning, facing, threading, and other machining operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements as per specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance of lathe machines and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and take corrective actions.
- Follow safety practices and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain production logs, work records, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams for continuous improvement.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- ITI in Turner/Machinist or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in operating lathe machines (manual or semi-automatic)
- Strong understanding of machining practices and shop floor processes
- Ability to work independently and produce quality components
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting

**Preferred**:

- Experience in toolroom or precision machining environments
- Exposure to CNC lathe (basic understanding is a plus)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, and safety protocols in machining
- Teamwork, discipline, and time management skills

Pay: ₹10,734.21 - ₹15,000.00 per month
