Music Teacher

**Job Summary**:
The Music Teacher will play a key role in shaping students’ musical abilities, boosting their confidence, and nurturing a lifelong love for music.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching & Instruction**
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for different grade levels (Primary to Senior).
- Teach vocal and/or instrumental music (keyboard, guitar, tabla, drums, etc.) as per students' interest and curriculum.
- Introduce students to music theory, rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and ear training.
- Conduct music appreciation sessions, exposing students to diverse genres and cultures.

**Student Development & Mentoring**
- Identify musically inclined students and mentor them through personalized coaching.
- Train students for school performances, competitions, cultural events, and external exams (e.g., Trinity College London, ABRSM, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, etc.).
- Encourage creativity, discipline, and expression through musical storytelling and improvisation.

**Event Planning & Performance**
- Lead and coordinate music for annual day, Independence Day, Republic Day, assemblies, and special occasions.
- Direct and manage school choir, band, or orchestra groups.
- Organize and conduct music clubs, talent shows, and inter-school events.

**Digital & Modern Music Integration**
- Use technology and audio tools for teaching music production, digital composition, and playback.
- Maintain playlists, music sheets, audio-visual resources, and manage digital archives for practice.

**Curriculum Development & Coordination**
- Design music curriculum in collaboration with academic leadership.
- Maintain updated lesson plans, student progress records, and performance reviews.
- Liaise with other departments for cross-curricular musical integration (e.g., drama, dance, storytelling).

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
