French Teacher

**Position Summary**:
The French Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing lessons while promoting language skills, cultural awareness, and global citizenship. The position requires a deep understanding of both the French language and its associated cultures, as well as an ability to connect with students in a motivating and engaging way.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching & Lesson Planning**:

- Teach French language and literature across different grade levels.
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons to promote listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Use a communicative approach to language instruction, integrating speaking and listening activities to build fluency.
- Develop and implement assignments, quizzes, and projects that align with curriculum standards.

**Student Evaluation & Feedback**:

- Assess students' progress regularly through assignments, tests, quizzes, and oral exams.
- Provide constructive feedback on student performance and guide them in improving their language skills.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and report on academic development during parent-teacher meetings.
- Provide extra support or advanced resources to students as required (e.g., remedial sessions or enrichment activities).

**Classroom Management & Environment**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Foster a love for the French language and its cultural diversity, encouraging curiosity and exploration beyond the curriculum.
- Promote active participation, group work, and student-centered learning activities.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

**Cultural Exposure & Co-curricular Activities**:

- Integrate French culture, history, literature, and current events into lessons to broaden students’ perspectives.
- Organize or participate in cultural exchange programs, language immersion trips, or French-related events such as film screenings, art exhibitions, and music appreciation sessions.
- Encourage students to participate in language competitions, such as spelling bees or debates, to enhance their speaking and listening skills.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Collaborate with other teachers to design cross-curricular activities and projects that enrich students' learning experiences.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay updated on new teaching methodologies and language teaching techniques.
- Maintain communication with parents and guardians about student progress, assignments, and concerns.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
