Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement- 4-6 years of relevant experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis including strategy consulting/investment banking/private-equity/research sectors-
- CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a top tier business school-
- Experience on key databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Merger Market, Debtwire, Factiva, etc.)-
- Should have proficiency in MS-office (mainly in Excel, PPTs and Word)-
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines-
- Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with strong leadership, client relationship and project management skills, analytical, communication and teamwork skills**Responsibilities**:
- This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.This role would involve supporting a large global private equity client with:
- Supporting our clients to develop results-driven strategies by:
- Performing detailed financial spreading and models including company / property valuation (using DCF, trading comps, transactions comps), M&A, LBO models, preparing IC memos and presentations for the live deals, etc.-
**Benchmarking companies** on various financial and operating parameters (KPIs) to understand industry growth and profitability- **Trading and Transaction comparable analysis,** financial statements/ analysis, experience in credit research, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, capital structure, etc**Investment Opportunity Identification**: High level screening and potential investment assessment through market analysis such as market size, demographic information, demand and supply dynamics, key drivers or relevant indicators, historical and projected growth rates, emerging market trends, etc.-
**Commercial Due Diligence Support on **potential investments through in-depth analysis of the market opportunity, target company / property research, target’s business model and competitive positioning, etc.-
- Analyzing investment themes / strategies: Evaluating attractiveness of the overall / sector / geography / company focused investment themes and strategies of the fund-
- Industry Dashboards: Periodic monitoring of key industry drivers and performance indicators for specific industries, data search and update, macro-economic research, etc.-
**Project Management**: Project structuring, planning, conceptualizing output, leading a team of 2-3 analysts, reviewing team’s work, signing-off before delivery-
- Client Management: Understanding project request, discuss project, negotiate deadline, handling client queries
