**Position: Barista**

**Location: [Unavilla Restaurant, Nungambakkam Chennai]**

**Experience: 3-5 Years in a Similar Role**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Preparation**: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty coffee drinks, following standard recipes and techniques.
- **Customer Interaction**: Greet customers, take orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Ensure the cleanliness of the workspace, equipment, and seating area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other ingredients, and notify management for restocking when needed.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all beverages meet the company’s quality standards before serving to customers.
- **Upselling**: Promote menu items and upsell food and beverages to maximize sales.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
- **Coffee Knowledge**: Strong understanding of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is preferred.
- **Customer Service**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and friendly environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards consistently.
- **Time Management**: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of coffee machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Certification in barista training or related fields is an added advantage.
- Creativity in creating new beverage recipes.
