
Restaurant Captain

**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain plays a key leadership role in the hotel’s restaurant, ensuring smooth service operations, guest satisfaction, and team coordination. They oversee the service team, maintain high standards of hospitality, and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests.
**Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Service & Experience**
- Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure prompt and efficient service while maintaining high hospitality standards.
- Address guest concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Upsell menu items and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
**2. Staff Supervision & Training**
- Lead, guide, and supervise restaurant staff, including waiters and runners.
- Assign tables and duties to service staff to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct daily briefings and training sessions for team members.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
**3. Order Management & Coordination**
- Ensure accurate and timely order-taking and delivery.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle special dietary requirements and guest preferences.
- Oversee billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy.
**4. Hygiene & Safety Compliance**
- Ensure that restaurant hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Monitor compliance with hotel policies, health, and safety regulations.
- Ensure all equipment and dining areas are properly maintained.
**5. Inventory & Stock Management**
- Assist in monitoring stock levels for restaurant supplies.
- Ensure the availability of necessary dining essentials (cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc.).
- Report shortages or maintenance issues to management.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Head Waiter, or similar role in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality etiquette.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
- Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and billing procedures.
**Education & Experience**:
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
