Responsibilities: ? Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances including Always On availability groups Replication mirroring and failover clustering. ? Highly skilled at database installations access security and database integrity physical data storage design and data storage management ? Experienced in Database Performance Maintenance and Development to perform the following: ? Database management including backups recovery and maintenance ? Refresh of databases in different environments ? Monitoring and resolving blocking sessions and data lock issues ? Check all statistics related to memory locks I/O database response time wait events top sessions and background processes ? Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive reports. ? Install SQL Server service packs and updates. ? Responsible for Database Migrations and Encryptions ? Create modify and optimize SQL Server Agent jobs and maintenance plans. Proactively monitor SQL Server jobs troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner. ? Troubleshoot application slowness and performance issues. ? Deploy and Analyse SSIS packages and SSRS for troubleshooting the issues ? Analysing PL/SQL procedures to solve the complex issues ? Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems ? Communicate and coordinate with other IT teams to successfully resolve support and maintenance Issues. ? Resource should have prior hands on working experience in prod support environment and agree to work on prod support project ? Resource should be flexible to work in AU hours / weekend /holiday on P1/P2 issues/critical issues as per project need ; he will be eligible for comp off/allowance as per CG policy for such scenario ? Position is for Prod Support and enhancement project where resource will be working on SLA measured tickets as well as development /enhancement of exiting/new functionalities
