**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching English Language and Literature**:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English language and literature, ensuring that the content is age-appropriate and meets the curriculum standards.
- Teach grammar, writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and literature (including poetry, prose, and plays).
- Foster an environment where students develop language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**:

- Develop detailed lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the school’s curriculum and educational guidelines.
- Adapt lessons to the diverse learning styles of students, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching techniques, including interactive activities, multimedia tools, and group work, to keep students engaged.
- **Student Assessments and Evaluations**:

- Prepare and conduct regular assessments, such as quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects, to evaluate student progress.
- Grade assignments, essays, and exams, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Track student performance and maintain detailed records of grades, behavior, and progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish clear rules and expectations for classroom behavior and academic performance.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Manage student behavior and resolve conflicts using effective classroom management techniques.
- **Support for Struggling Students**:

- Identify students who may require additional academic support and provide individualized or small group assistance.
- Offer remedial classes or extra help for students who struggle with specific concepts.
- Encourage reluctant students and help them build confidence in their language abilities.
- **Interactive Learning and Enrichment Activities**:

- Organize classroom activities like debates, group discussions, role plays, and literary games to promote active learning.
- Encourage students to explore English through extracurricular activities such as drama, storytelling, and creative writing.
- Create a learning environment that fosters curiosity, imagination, and a love for reading.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Regularly update parents on their child’s academic progress, behavior, and areas of improvement.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and provide guidance on how parents can support learning at home.
- Address concerns raised by parents about academic performance or behavior in a professional and timely manner.
- **Collaboration with Colleagues**:

- Work closely with other teachers, especially in the language department, to share resources, discuss student progress, and develop cross-curricular teaching strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training to stay updated on best practices in teaching and education.
- **Cultural and Literary Awareness**:

- Introduce students to a wide range of literary works, including both classic and contemporary English literature.
- Encourage discussions on cultural, social, and historical contexts of the literature being studied.
- Promote critical thinking and analysis through detailed study and interpretation of texts.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about new trends in education, teaching methods, and curriculum changes.
- Pursue opportunities for further education or professional development, such as attending workshops, conferences, and seminars on English language teaching.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
