Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following.

You will be expected to:

- Ensure that the team understands & adopts Scrum principles, values and processes.
- Facilitate all the Scrum ceremonies.
- Resolve impediments for the team.
- Always be on the lookout for ways to improve and help the team to perform at its best.
- Keep the stakeholders informed.
- Publish dashboards containing data driven metrics.
- Work with the Product Owner to ensure that the backlog is groomed & prioritized to plan upcoming sprints.
- Be flexible to adapt to the dynamic environment that teams operate in
- Understand, fine tune and adhere to the processes defined.

Key technical expertise areas expected for this role:

- Currently working as a Scrum Master for a distributed team
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies using the Scrum framework
- Experience working with distributed teams across time zones
- Experience with Agile Estimation techniques
- Experience with facilitating Sprint Retrospectives for the distributed teams
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence or similar
- Excellent communication skills

Additional areas that would add value:

- Agile Scrum Master Certification
- Exposure working with Kanban framework
- Understanding of Lean principles
- Understanding of the Software Development Processes

Education and experience:

- Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience
