**About Function**:
Artwork Flow is the SAAS platform by Bizongo for Label Proofing and Artwork Management. It's a cloud-based collaboration platform to review & approve creative packaging projects to accelerate product launches. Artwork Flow is helping brands across industries such as Food and Beverages, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Chemicals, Consumer goods, and more. Our Capterra score of 4.7 is a testimony to our customer obsession. The vision for Artwork Flow is to evolve into a Product Lifecycle Management platform for consumer brands. The Artwork Flow team functions like a startup within Bizongo and we are looking to recruit our foundational members for the Product and Engineering Org as we expand into global markets. We have a few of the best investors on board including the likes of Accel, Chiratae, B-Capital Group, IFC (World Bank group), CDC group and Schroeder Adveq.

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Science Intern to join our team and work on image processing and text extraction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge data science techniques while contributing to innovative projects in the Artwork Management and Design domain.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Develop and implement algorithms for image processing and analysis, with a focus on artwork images.
- Design and build models for text and table extraction from images, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition) techniques.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image processing, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP) technologies.

**What will make you a good fit**:

- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience using data science libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of image processing techniques, computer vision algorithms, and OCR methods.
- Familiarity with NLP concepts and tools for text extraction and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
