**Job Title: Retail Merchant**

**Role Summary**:
The Retail Merchant - MIS Executive is responsible for supporting the merchandising team with data-driven insights, managing product-level reporting, tracking retail performance, and assisting in inventory planning. This role bridges operational retail activities with analytical reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable business intelligence.

**Key Responsibilities:1. MIS & Reporting**
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports across categories, SKUs, and regions.
- Develop dashboards and track KPIs such as sell-through, stock cover, markdowns, and gross margins.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning through data analysis.
- Maintain product master data and ensure system accuracy.

**2. Merchandising Support**
- Analyze sales trends and inventory health to support buying and replenishment decisions.
- Assist in vendor and SKU-level performance analysis.
- Coordinate with Category Managers for merchandise planning and assortment reviews.
- Help track promotions, offers, and seasonal sales performance.

**3. Inventory & Stock Management**
- Track store-wise and warehouse inventory, aging stock, and stock transfers.
- Coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to manage stock availability and reorder triggers.
- Analyze slow-moving and non-performing inventory and recommend liquidation strategies.

**4. Data Management & Accuracy**
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of master data related to products, vendors, and pricing.
- Perform periodic audits of system data and update any changes in ERP/POS systems.
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to enhance reporting tools and automation.

**5. Cross-Functional Coordination**
- Collaborate with finance, sales, planning, and supply chain teams to streamline reporting processes.
- Support internal reviews, audits, and category presentations with relevant MIS inputs.
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Understanding of retail KPIs and merchandising principles.
- Ability to handle large data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate in Commerce / Business / Statistics / Retail Management.
- Postgraduate or specialization in Retail / MIS / Analytics is a plus.

**Experience Required**:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce industry.
- Hands-on experience in MIS reporting, merchandise planning, or category analytics.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
