**ROLE SUMMARY**:
**Officer, Finance** will be responsible for providing support in the Country Office payments, verifying documents and filing, and will also support in Country Office Audit.

**Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist the Finance team of DI locations for documents verification and filing in order to support the Country Office audit.
- Ensure all the supporting documents are provided and payment requests are entered into Accounts Payable module for processing of the payment.
- Coordinate with DI locations for timely release of the payments.
- Collect asset details and prepare statements for statutory audit with supporting documents of invoice and payment vouchers.
- File vouchers in complete order before the start of the audit.
- Follow-up with DI locations’ finance team and cluster Field Officers for any outstanding payables and receivables so that it is cleared timely.
- Any other tasks assigned as assigned by the Line Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES**
- Post graduate degree or degree in Finance/ Commerce /Accounts.
- At least 4 years’ experience in accounts and finance management.
- Strong knowledge of Tally and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Accounting Standards, internal controls, and segregation of duties.
- Good understanding of administrative, financial and general management principles and skilled in financial reporting, budgeting and taxes.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations when required.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Organised, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual.
