**Job Summary**:
The Security Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, property, and assets within the institution. The role involves coordinating with security staff, implementing safety protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the security team.
- Monitor access control and ensure proper authorization of personnel and visitors.
- Conduct routine inspections of all security posts and premises.
- Maintain and operate CCTV, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare daily security reports and incident logs for management.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and ensure proper documentation.
- Liaise with external security agencies and law enforcement as necessary.
- Ensure security staff are well-trained and comply with institutional security policies.
- Support in the recruitment and onboarding of new security personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Security Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in security operations or coordination (2-4 years minimum).
- Knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
