Micro Focus is an international company with offices and employees in many locations around the world. As such, there is a significant amount of work across time zones and differing cultures. The ability to work on distributed teams with customers from all regions of the world is essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Environment Build Engineers are primarily responsible for provision and build of Environments.
- Creation of scripts/documentation for repeatable Environment Builds.
- Creation of scripts/documentation for repeatable Environment Maintenance activities.
- Liaison with Internal Build teams/third parties to develop a repeatable Environment Build procedure.
- Deployment of Software artefacts where necessary by following documentation/deployment scripts/tools.
- Responsible for maintenance of Software Environments - e.g data refresh, code refresh, data load, archiving etc.
- Perform basic System Admin activities on software environments.
- Act as first line of support for Environmental issues like connectivity, integration ,installation issues etc
- Liaison with cloud service providers/3rd party Infrastructure companies for build and creation of servers/platforms required for Environments.
- Liaison with SAAS for build and provision of SAAS Instances.
- Gather and maintain necessary connectivity/configuration information to enable system connectivity/integration.
- Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Micro Focus products, parts, and services.
- Participation and coordination with other team members/external teams in Environment Management procedures.
- Participation in ITSM procedures where necessary and adherence to MF policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to train/adapt to adhoc and emerging requirements for MF IT Build & Deliver function.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience of working in E2E project delivery at an Enterprise level.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Previous experience in Anaplan or similar planning tools highly desirable.
- Experience in scripting and / or programming languages or automation of environment build methodologies in very desirable
- Strong experience with environment/system build across complex landscapes.
- Foundational or expert knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
