**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, develop customer service skills, and learn about the daily operations of a dermatology clinic. The Front Desk Intern will assist with various administrative tasks and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the clinic, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing the clinic's calendar, and confirming patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about clinic services and procedures.
- Assist with patient registration, including updating and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Handle patient billing and payments, and assist with insurance verification and processing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
- Support the administrative team with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in gaining experience in a clinical setting and developing customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
