**Role & Responsibilities:

- **

Quality inspectors are responsible for ensuring that products meet production standards and are delivered to consumers in good condition. Their responsibilities include:

- **Establishing standards**: Setting quality standards for products and services, and communicating them to relevant staff
- **Inspecting**: Performing visual and measurement tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- **Identifying defects**: Identifying defects in the manufacturing process and recommending solutions
- **Documenting**: Recording inspection results and preparing test reports
- **Maintaining equipment**: Keeping measurement equipment calibrated and in good working order
- **Ensuring compliance**: Complying with internal policies, legal regulations, and quality standards
- **Improving processes**: Recommending changes to production processes to improve quality
- **Maintaining a safe work environment**: Following standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- **Updating knowledge**: Participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications to update job knowledge
