Job Title: DB2 LUW Database Administrator

**Job Description**:
As a DBA, you will install, configure, monitor and support DB2 LUW in the cloud environment, work on tasks from the DBA work queue, and provide enhanced support to the enterprise customers and DevOps team.

Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in supporting enterprise DB2 LUW Database

Complete knowledge in Q Replication

Experience in Db2 Database migration

Ability do Db2 Upgrades, Fix packs installations

Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency - especially query tuning

Assist in disk space management and data maintenance activities for database system

Ability to do ad-hoc backup and restore tasks

Resolve any database issues in accurate and timely fashion

Monitor databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates

Check utilisation of data and log files

Manage database logins and permissions for users

Ability to write shell scripts for maintenance

Quick learner, flexible to work on week-end schedules, independently working, collaborative across various Teams

Exposure to DevOps practices and tools is preferred

Willingness to scale/skill up in Infra and Linux Administration Activities

Experience and expertise on RedHat OpenShift and Ansible will be an added advantage
