**Description**:
**What You'll Do**:
**Optimize Performance**: Enhance query execution, indexing, and storage engines for peak efficiency. Monitor and address performance bottlenecks using tools like New Relic, ensuring seamless operation during high-load scenarios.

**Ensure High Availability and Reliability**: Implement clustering, replication, and failover strategies to ensure redundancy. Develop comprehensive backup processes and disaster recovery plans to protect data integrity.

**Maintain Compliance and Security**: Enforce role-based access controls, secure sensitive data, and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and supply chain security standards.

**Innovate and Monitor Systems**:Stay informed on MySQL advancements and implement relevant updates. Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools to enhance database capabilities and performance monitoring.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of hands-on experience in MySQL architecture and managing large-scale database environments.
- Preferred certifications in MySQL or database administration.
- Expertise in MySQL 8.0+ database architecture, design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and replication configurations.
- Extensive experience with high-availability setups and query performance optimization.
- Knowledge of NoSQL systems (e.g., Cassandra) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS).
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated success in designing and maintaining high-performance, reliable database systems.
