MySQL and Nodejs Developer

We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in MySQL and , preferably with prior product-based experience, to join our product development team. Candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, optimizing backend systems, ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability of our product platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, optimize and manage existing MySQL databases, ensuring high performance, maintaining regular backups, data integrity, and security.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Implement robust APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Contribute to system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of Linux, and also Apache and Nginx web servers for configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in creating and executing migration scripts for smooth production deployments.
  • Clear understanding of Git/Bitbucket workflows, including resolving merge conflicts, performing rollbacks, and ensuring version control best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 3+ years working in and MySQL
  • Strong expertise in MySQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and database design. Strong understanding of backend architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Frontend exposure to React and Next would be a good to have
  • Understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT).
  • Understanding of with cloud platforms and hosting. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment automation. Familiarity with DevOps tools
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
