Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hardware Electronics and Optics Lab Technician to join our research and development team. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and optical systems within our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and Maintenance: Configure, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, lasers, and optical benches.
- Testing and Measurement: Perform precise measurements and testing of electronic and optical components, systems, and prototypes to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electronic circuits and optical systems, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and maintenance activities; prepare detailed reports and summaries of findings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and scientists to develop and refine hardware solutions; provide technical support and insights during project planning and execution.
- Inventory Management: Manage laboratory supplies and equipment inventory; ensure the lab is well-stocked and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Diploma in electronics or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, specifically with electronic and optical equipment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and optical instruments; strong understanding of electronic circuits and optical principles.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively; strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions
The Hardware Electronics and Optics Lab Technician will work in a laboratory setting, frequently interacting with advanced electronic and optical equipment. The role may require occasional lifting of heavy equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
