**The Opportunity**:
UST is looking for a Platform Technician to provide hands-on support for hardware setup, system integration, and lab activities in a platform validation environment. This is a full-time onsite role based in Bangalore.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and configure desktop, server, and custom hardware platforms. Install and update Windows, Linux, and VMware operating systems. Flash BIOS, BMC, CPLD, and other firmware components.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware components such as CPU, memory, storage, and network cards.
- Set up and maintain lab environments including rack assembly, cabling, and power connections.
- Perform functional and stress tests, collect logs, and support engineering validation workflows.
- Follow ESD safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab space.
- Document hardware configurations, test results, and procedures as needed.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams to support development milestones

**Required Skills**:

- Basic platform bring-up and system configuration OS installation and firmware flashing
- Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting Lab maintenance and ESD compliance

**Desired Skills**
- Exposure to server platforms and test environments
- Basic scripting (Python or Bash)
- Familiarity with inventory and ticketing tools
- Previous lab or validation experience is a plus

**Qualification**:

- Diploma or Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
- 1-3 years of relevant lab or system support experience preferred
