**Job position - Medical Officer (Trainee), Production Department**

**Job Purpose**:To ensure effective utilization of manpower & machinery and improve productivity in Factory.

**Key Accountability**:

- To carry out proper production planning
- To carry out proper manpower allocation.
- To carry out productivity analysis.
- To properly administer Batch Processing Records
- To ensure necessary raw material is available in requisite quantity in advance.
- To ensure proper Quality Inspection of Raw Material and report non-concurrence to Purchase Team.
- To carryout production of different categories of Ayurvedic products.
- To ensure Production is followed as per prescribed formula and GMP guidelines.
- To ensure shop floor is properly maintained as per GMP norms.
- To impart continuous on-the-job training (OJT) in the factory.
- To ensure all safety equipments are checked periodically and carry out periodic safety drills.
- To coordinate with labour contractors for ensuring adequate number of workmen are in place and adherence to all laws and rules.
- To monitor moment of workmen for avoiding unnecessary unrest & production.
- To ensure all safety equipments are checked periodically and carry out periodic safety drills.
- To provide necessary reports to management viz; Stock Report, DPR, DBR, Accident Report, Manpower Report, Quality Report, Production Report, Materials Requisition Report, Finished Stock Report etc.
- To run the factory in a very cost effective manner.
- To carry our any other responsibilities as required by the management from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Qualification: BAMS or MD (Ayurveda)
- Experience: Freshers or 1-2 years of experience in Ayurvedic Production and Factory Administration.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Identification of different herbs.
- Knowledge in different categories of Ayurvedic Production like: Asava-arista, Ayurvedic medicated oil, Tablets, Pills, Capsules, Syrups, Avaleha, Pak etc.
- Working knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Communication Skills: Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills in Malayalam and English.
- International Codes: Knowledge of GMP implementation. Knowledge of WHO will be an added advantage.

**Job Location**: Kanjikode Factory, Palakkad

**Stipend**: Rs.17,000/- per month for a one-year training period.

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 per month
