**Job Summary**:
The Counsellor (Psychology) will provide psychological support services to students, faculty, and staff to promote mental health and well-being. The role involves one-on-one counselling, group sessions, awareness programs, and crisis intervention. The Counsellor is expected to maintain confidentiality, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to a positive campus environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual and group counselling to students experiencing psychological, emotional, academic, or social issues.
- Assess mental health needs and create personalized support plans.
- Conduct psychological assessments, where necessary, and maintain case documentation.
- Identify at-risk students and intervene in coordination with faculty, hostel wardens, and administration.
- Design and implement workshops on stress management, time management, interpersonal skills, and emotional resilience.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all counselling sessions and related documentation.
- Collaborate with academic departments, and external mental health professionals when referrals are required.
- Submit periodic reports and analytics on counselling trends and outreach impact.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Master’s degree in Psychology (Counselling) or related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in counselling, preferably in an academic setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, active listening skills, and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and ethical counselling practices.

**Desirable**:

- MA, M.Phil or PhD in Counselling Psychology.
- Experience with adolescent/young adult mental health issues.
- Knowledge of regional languages.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
