**Job Title: Field Inspector - Southern Railway Inspection Project**

**Location**: Field-based (Chennai and southern regions)
**Positions**: 3
**Employment Type**: Full-time.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Audit & Inspection**:

- Perform detailed assessments of coach cleaning activities (exterior, interior, toilets, gangways, and intensive cleaning)
- Utilize standardized scoring systems (1-5 scale) to evaluate cleaning quality and operational efficiency
- Verify proper execution of mechanized cleaning procedures as per contractual obligations

**2. Equipment & Resource Management**:

- Inspect availability and operational status of cleaning machinery (high-pressure jets, vacuum systems)
- Audit tool inventory (brushes, hoses, cleaning agents) against contractual requirements
- Document equipment deficiencies and maintenance issues

**3. Compliance Monitoring**:

- Ensure proper usage of approved cleaning chemicals in correct concentrations
- Validate adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Monitor workforce deployment against contractual agreements

**4. Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare detailed audit reports with photographic evidence
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings

**5. Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains in cleaning operation
- Track implementation of corrective actions from previous audits

**6. Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Liaise between cleaning contractors, depot staff, and management
- Managing shake holder

**Qualifications & Requirements**

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or any field

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 years in quality control, preferably in railway maintenance or large-scale cleaning operations
- Proven track record in conducting technical audits

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in audit methodologies and scoring systems
- Advanced report writing capabilities

**Soft Skills**:

- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluent in Hindi, English and Tamil (Telugu/Kannada a plus)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

**Working Conditions**
- Field-based role with 80% time spent in depot environments
- Requires working in varying shifts, including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to inspect coach interiors, including confined spaces
- Travel to multiple depot locations as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
